What Karooli is, and what it isn't.
Karooli builds technology for what makes us human. That line is the whole point. It also has limits, and we want you to know them clearly.
This page is a plain-English scope statement. It explains what our products are, what they are not, what to expect, and what to do if you are in a moment that needs more than software.
What Karooli is not
We are explicit about this because the category we work in invites confusion. Karooli, Vesspr, and any future Karooli product are not:
- A medical or clinical service. We do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe. We are not a substitute for a licensed therapist, psychologist, psychiatrist, or physician.
- A crisis service. We are not equipped to respond to acute crises, suicidal ideation, or emergencies. If you are in one, please use the resources at the bottom of this page.
- A replacement for human relationships. Vesspr is designed to make space for human connection, not to stand in for it. We measure our success by whether you spend more meaningful time with real people, not less.
- An attention-maximising product. We do not optimise for daily active use, time-in-app, or engagement-as-a-metric. Honest use of our products should sometimes mean closing them.
- An advertising-funded product. We do not run ads. We do not sell or share personal data with advertising networks. Our business model is the product, not the user.
What you control
Our default is the minimum data necessary, used only for what you signed up for. You can:
- Withdraw from any waitlist or unsubscribe from any Karooli mailing list at any time. One click in the email footer, or write to privacy@karooli.ai.
- Request a copy of, or deletion of, the personal data we hold about you on karooli.ai. We will respond within 30 days. See the Privacy Policy for the full process.
- Adjust or withdraw consent for analytics cookies at any time using the cookie preferences link in the footer.

Can I use Karooli products if I am in a crisis?
Please do not rely on Karooli products in a crisis. They are not built for that, and waiting for an app to help can cost you time you need. How do you keep my data private?

Who is responsible for what Vesspr says to me?
Karooli is the developer of Vesspr and is responsible for its design, behaviour, and policies. Vesspr is an AI and can make mistakes. If something it said is harmful, inaccurate, or concerning, please write to support@karooli.ai with as much detail as you can share. We read every report.
